i was encouraged onced again. :)

I just realised we dont pray for some of our brothers and sisters that we've forgotten.

But would it set me free
If I dared to let you see
The truth behind the person
That you imagine me to be

Would your arms be open
Or would you walk away
Would the love of Jesus
Be enough to make you stay

just reading your previous post on "HAHA you're a virgin!"

have you read the books "I Kissed Dating Goodbye" and "Boy Meets Girl" by josh harris? excellent books on purity and godliness in relationships.

these 2 books, during high school, were recommended by teenss leaders for us to read. so that's why many of us "new generation" leaders - the ones who have come out of high school and are beginning youth leadership - have been deeply inspired to not only set strict physical boundaries in relationships, but to actually pursue the opposite direction - the direction of utmost purity and godliness. protecting your own purity and protecting your partner's purity is one of the most beautiful ways a dating Christian couple can love each other.

have you heard the saying:
non-Christians show love by WHAT THEY DO. Christians show love by WHAT THEY DON'T DO.

for this reason, many of us new generation KYLC are really determined to pursue the mose pure and godly relationship as possible, setting boundaries such as refraining from kissing, saving your first kiss for the altar, and presenting it as a most special and precious gift to your spouse on your wedding day.

but anyway, i completely agree with you. there is no shame in being a virgin. only those living in shame try to put you to shame in order to eleviate themselves.

have you read my recent post on facebook called "The wisdom of Perfect Love"? it talks about this in a bit more detail.
